James Dean's success stemmed from a combination of his natural beauty: his penetrating gaze and simple clothing which every girl fell for, and the style of acting he had adopted: realistic, straight-forward and rough.
Many times, he improvised and acted according to what he felt at the moment and not necessarily according to the director's instructions.
Dean pushes us to break patterns and to develop our own unique identity, by being one of the only idols that encourage natural charisma and authenticity.
He teaches us that sometimes improvising does not mean that you came unprepared, but that you simply thought of something better to say.
