The unusual story of the artistic path of Nimrod K. Ron starts in 1990 in Reut, a small town in Israel. As a former Special Forces soldier (Shaldag), a law school and business school alumnus (Hebrew University of Jerusalem), who started his own real estate company at the age of 22 and his first startup at the age of 26, the odds of Nimrod for holding a brush were not extremely high.

 

However, about five years ago, something happened that surprised him. He found himself trying to give life to his thoughts, to step away from the material and the mundane, and got back to his old love from childhood - painting.

 

NKR's paintings have been recognized and purchased by prominent art collectors in the U.S, Formula 1 owners, NBA players, high-profile American Businessmen, and even owned by a Former U.S President. The paintings have also been presented in various exhibitions at galleries and museums in the US alongside renowned works, such as Andy Warhol's famous collection - "The Ten Jews of the 20th Century" in the Dallas Museum of Biblical Art.

 

Nimrod is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Amy, a startup which has raised $6M from U.S Venture Capital firms. 

 

In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Nimrod was awarded the Hebrew University's badge of honor in 2018, becoming the youngest recipient of this award.

 

In 2019, Nimrod was featured on the Forbes 30Under30 list.​
